Job Overview
Dis-Chem Pharmacies is looking for a customer-oriented Cosmetics Consultant to join its Dihlabeng store in Bethlehem. The successful candidate will promote and sell cosmetics, fragrances and beauty products while providing excellent customer service and supporting departmental sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer care and service.
- Promote and sell cosmetics, fragrances and beauty products.
- Conduct makeovers, cosmetic demonstrations and spray promotions.
- Assist customers with product selection and provide relevant product information.
- Escalate serious or unresolved customer complaints to management.
- Monitor stock levels and report short, damaged or expired stock.
- Maintain attractive and well-organised merchandise displays.
- Work towards department, brand and vendor sales targets.
- Stay informed about new products, brands and developments in the retail industry.
- Manage cosmetics, fragrance and beauty promotions.
- Manage salon appointments.
- Follow Dis-Chem policies, procedures, SOPs and health and safety regulations.
Minimum Requirements
Essential:
- Grade 12 / Matric.
- Retail experience as a Sales Consultant.
- Computer literacy.
- Willingness and ability to work retail hours.
Advantageous:
- Previous cosmetics, fragrance or beauty experience.
- Sales and promotional training.
- Stock management experience.
- Knowledge of cosmetics and beauty products.
