Responsibilities:
Handle all cash-related matters including walk-in clients, ATM cash replenishment, and bulk cash handling
Accurately assess customer needs and provide efficient cash solutions
Ensure compliance with all legal and procedural requirements related to cash handling
Maintain a high level of service delivery to enhance client experience
Support branch operations by understanding and executing standard banking procedures
Qualifications:
Minimum qualification: NQF Level 5 (e.g., National Certificate or equivalent)
Experience:
1–2 years of experience in branch banking
Familiarity with cash handling protocols and ATM operations
Understanding of frontline support processes
Basic knowledge of legal requirements regarding cash handling
Exposure to the operations of other banking departments is advantageous
Technical Competencies:
Banking process & procedure knowledge
Customer product knowledge (Consumer Banking)
Transaction processing
Application & submission verification (Business Banking)
Customer onboarding and compliance awareness
Behavioural Competencies:
Attention to detail and procedure-following
Clear communication and information articulation
Ability to assess and examine cash-related tasks accurately
Practical problem-solving and decision-making
Openness to explore customer needs and provide tailored solutions
