    Salary:

    R879 342 per annum – All-Inclusive Remuneration Package
    (Includes basic salary, employer contribution to the Government Employee Pension Fund, and a flexible portion which may include a 13th cheque, housing allowance, motor vehicle allowance, and medical aid.)

    Minimum Requirements:

    • A recognised degree in the Built Environment

    • Three (3) years’ relevant experience in construction project management

    • Compulsory registration with SACPCMP as a Professional Construction Project Manager

    • Valid Driver’s Licence (except for persons with disabilities)

    Key Duties & Responsibilities:

    Project Planning & Implementation

    • Lead and manage planning, execution, monitoring, and evaluation of construction projects using recognized project management methodologies.

    • Develop and implement detailed project work plans and timelines, adjusting where necessary to meet shifting priorities and deliverables.

    Project Execution & Quality Assurance

    • Oversee daily operations and manage project scope, risks, and change control.

    • Apply project standards consistently to minimise risk and ensure compliance with legislation and professional guidelines.

    Monitoring & Reporting

    • Regularly report progress to the Chief Construction Project Manager.

    • Monitor project budgets, timelines, and resource utilisation.

    Stakeholder Engagement & Service Provider Management

    • Liaise with contractors, consultants, clients, and internal stakeholders.

    • Provide input during tender processes and contract management.

    Research & Development

    • Stay abreast of new technologies and methodologies in the built environment.

    • Engage with professional bodies and contribute to industry best practices.

    Human Resource & Team Development

    • Mentor and manage Candidate Construction Project Managers.

    • Contribute to HR processes including:

      • Performance appraisals

      • Training needs identification

      • Staff development

      • Disciplinary processes

    Budget & Resource Management

    • Monitor and report on the utilisation of equipment and budgets.

    • Ensure efficient use of all allocated resources.
