Project Objective
The purpose of this tender is to appoint a qualified contractor to undertake construction and refurbishment works at the Makholokoeng FPSU facility to improve infrastructure and operational capacity.
Scope of Work
The successful contractor will be required to undertake the following works:
New Construction
- Construct one new guard house.
- Construct two new silos.
- Install a new entrance gate.
Refurbishment Works
- Refurbish an existing guard house.
- Refurbish the weighbridge control room.
CIDB Requirement
Mandatory CIDB Grading
- Required CIDB Rating: 4 GB or higher
GB refers to General Building Works.
Only contractors with a valid CIDB Grade 4 GB or higher may submit bids.

- A large warehouse will be visible approximately 400 m to the right off the N5.
- From Harrismith toward Bethlehem:
- Travel approximately 20 km from Harrismith Inn.
Failure to attend the compulsory meeting may result in disqualification.

Technical Requirements
Contractors must demonstrate:
