Tender Objective
To appoint a qualified contractor to perform coating and rubber lining repairs on the main condensers of Units 1 to 6 at Lethabo Power Station, ensuring operational integrity and reliability over a 5-year period during scheduled outages.
Scope of Work
The works include:
1. Tubesheet Coating

Application of approved coating systems on condenser tubesheets.
2. Waterbox Rubber Lining Repairs
-
Repair and restore rubber lining inside waterboxes.
3. Waterbox Cross-over Piping Repairs
-
Repair of cross-over piping with suitable coating/rubber lining as required.
4. Outage-based Execution

Work to be performed during planned outages over a 5-year contract period.
Technical Requirements

Use of approved coating & rubber lining materials

Compliance with Eskom safety, environmental, and quality standards

Ability to execute repairs during outages without disrupting plant operations

Qualified personnel with relevant experience in condenser repairs
Skills & Experience Requirements
Tenderers must demonstrate:

CIDB 6SD or higher

Proven experience in similar power station condenser repairs

Capability to manage multi-year outage-based maintenance

Strong HSE compliance and project management

Ability to deliver within outage schedules
