    Tender Objective

    To appoint a qualified catering service provider to supply and deliver ad-hoc catering services at four ATNS sites on an as-and-when required basis, over a 36-month period, using a rate-based contract.

    Scope of Work

    The service provider must provide:

    Catering Services on Demand

    • Lunches

    • Snacks

    • Platters

    • Hot Meals

    • Desserts

    • Beverages

    Service Delivery

    • Delivery, setup, service, and breakdown at the specified locations

    • Catering for meetings, events, and operational requirements

    Equipment & Utensils

    • Serving dishes, warmers, cutlery, and disposable packaging (if required)

    • Table setup and event service equipment

    Technical Requirements

    The provider must:

    •  Have valid Food Safety & Health Certificates
    •  Provide Public Liability Insurance
    •  Have qualified chefs (NQF Level 5 or equivalent)
    •  Provide occupational certificates for culinary staff
    •  Follow food safety regulations and hygiene standards
    •  Provide proper transportation & logistics for timely delivery
    •  Ensure high-quality food presentation and service

    Skills & Experience Requirements

    Service providers must demonstrate:

    • Experience in catering for corporate events and operations

    • Qualified culinary team with certifications

    • Ability to deliver catering across multiple locations

    • Strong logistics and event management capability

    • Understanding of compliance and procurement requirements

     Additional Requirements

    • Tax compliance documents (SARS)

    • Company registration and proof of business existence

    • Valid CSD registration

    • Adherence to ATNS procurement and compliance policies
