    The department seeks to appoint a highly competent and strategic individual as Chief Director: Corporate Services. This executive role will oversee key internal functions including Human Resources, Legal Services, Information Technology, and Organisational Development. The successful candidate will drive operational excellence, organisational performance, and corporate compliance.

    Salary:
    R1 494 900 per annum (Level 14), all-inclusive package.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide strategic leadership and oversight for the Corporate Services Chief Directorate

    • Develop and implement Human Resources Management strategies and systems

    • Manage HR planning, administration, performance, labour relations, change management, and employee wellness

    • Oversee the department’s Information and Communication Technology (ICT) functions and drive the development of sound information management systems

    • Provide legal advisory and support services to the department

    • Drive and monitor the implementation of corporate strategies and transformation frameworks

    • Ensure proper governance, compliance, risk management, and financial resource management within the unit

    • Foster relationships with labour unions and promote good labour practices

    Qualifications:

    • A recognised NQF Level 7 Degree in one of the following fields:

      • Law

      • Human Resource Management / Development

      • Organisational Development

      • Public Management

    • A minimum of 5 years’ experience at a senior management level

    • Valid Driver’s License

    • Completion of the Senior Management Pre-entry Programme (Nyukela) is required before appointment
