Responsibilities:

Develop and plan menus tailored to the operational needs

Establish recipes and define food purchase specifications

Coordinate, execute, supervise, and evaluate all food production in a fast-paced environment

Assist in managing both strategic and daily operational activities
Qualifications:

Tertiary qualification in food and beverage services or culinary arts (compulsory)

Minimum 5 years of progressive culinary/kitchen management experience (compulsory)

Proven ability to work within budget guidelines

Strong financial acumen and understanding of food cost controls
Skills and Competencies:

Broad knowledge of catering environments from fine dining to restaurants

Understanding of South African and industry-specific legal requirements

Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills
