Responsibilities:

Manage daily operations of the healthcare kitchen unit

Oversee implementation of production processes and kitchen brigade management

Manage food and labour costs within budget guidelines

Ensure compliance with HACCP and HSE standards

Develop and plan menus including special diets
-
Assist with strategic and day-to-day operational management
Qualifications:
-
Relevant tertiary qualification in food and beverage services or culinary arts (compulsory)
-
Minimum 3 years’ progressive kitchen/management experience (compulsory)
-
Experience working within budget constraints (compulsory)
-
Experience in high-volume and complex foodservice operations (advantageous)
-
Hospital/healthcare catering experience (compulsory)
-
Knowledge of special diets and HSE practices (compulsory/advantageous)
-
Strong leadership, customer service, communication, and computer skills
-
Understanding of South African and industry-specific laws
