Objective of the Contract

To appoint a professional and qualified service provider to deliver comprehensive cleaning services at the Harrismith Magistrate Office for a period of 36 months. The aim is to ensure a clean, hygienic, and professional environment that supports the efficient functioning of the office.

Scope of Work

Comprehensive cleaning services, including but not limited to:

• Surface & furniture cleaning

• Window & glass cleaning (interior and accessible exterior)

• Floor & carpet cleaning

• Sanitation of ablutions, kitchens, etc.

• Waste management

• Cleaning of entrances, reception, meeting areas

• Specialized cleaning: carpet washing, high-rise window cleaning

• Supply of cleaning materials, equipment, PPE

• Quality control & supervision

Technical Requirements

Bidders must:

• Provide qualified cleaning staff (with supervision)

• Use SABS-approved & eco-friendly chemicals

• Supply and maintain industrial equipment

• Comply with OHSA & safety protocols

• Implement a quality management system

• Attend the compulsory site briefing

• Ensure capacity, compliance & relevant experience
