Phumelela Local Municipality invites qualified service providers to submit bids for the provision of auctioneering services to facilitate the disposal of municipal assets.

Objectives

Scope of Work
- Conduct auctions for municipal assets as specified in the bid documents
- Deliver services at the designated municipal venue
- Adhere to the stipulated auction timeframe
- Comply with all administrative and regulatory requirements
- Provide reports and documentation for completed auctions as required
Technical Requirements
- Submit bids on the original provided bid document, valid for 120 days post-closing
- Bid documents available from 18 March 2026:
- Purchase for R350, or
- Free download from the e-tender portal
- Attach a valid Company Tax Compliance Status (TCS) and CSD registration report
- Provide proof of payment for municipal services (not older than 3 months) or a lease agreement
- Fully complete all bid documentation and submit in a sealed envelope clearly endorsed with the bid number and title
- Ensure bids are submitted before 12:00 on the closing date; bids will be opened publicly immediately afterward
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience in auctioneering, preferably for asset disposal
- Competence in managing auctions efficiently and transparently
- Ability to comply with procurement policies, functionality scoring, and evaluation criteria
- Capacity to meet administrative and legal requirements including tax compliance and CSD registration
