Department Overview:

Responsibilities:

Supervise compliance of plant and equipment in workshop, building facilities, or site operations.

Control, coordinate, and monitor maintenance and services rendered.

Carry out administrative duties and maintain accurate documentation.

Manage technical resources and advance workshop expertise.
-
Promote safety, legal compliance, and operational standards in line with Public Service Regulations.
Minimum Requirements:
-
Trade Test Certificate in Diesel or Electromechanical.
-
Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Artisan.
-
Valid C1 driver’s license.
Knowledge and Skills:
-
Understanding of Public Service Regulations and legal compliance.

Familiarity with SLAs and workshop safety procedures.

Technical knowledge of:

Automotive systems

Mechanical and electrical components

Hydraulic systems and power machinery

Electrical/mechanical analogues

Strong computer literacy and communication skills.

Salary: R382,047 per annum (OSD)
