Job Description
The Academic Content Writer is responsible for developing, reviewing, and updating higher education learning materials and assessments within the Faculty of Information Technology. The role involves collaborating with subject matter experts to create high-quality academic content that aligns with curriculum requirements, academic standards, and the Eduvos brand.
This is an independent contract position where content writers are remunerated per approved submission.
Key Responsibilities
Content Development
- Develop new study materials and learning resources for students.
- Design and develop assessments aligned with programme outcomes.
- Ensure content complies with Eduvos academic and content development standards.
- Follow established development guidelines and programme specifications.
Collaboration and Quality Assurance
- Work closely with subject matter experts and faculty teams.
- Participate in communities of practice within the faculty.
- Submit content for moderation and quality assurance review.
- Incorporate feedback from moderators and reviewers.
Content Management
- Upload and release learning materials in the required formats.
- Maintain and manage module content on learning management systems.
- Assist with content ingestion where required.
- Ensure content is accurate, current, and engaging.
Review and Updating of Learning Materials
- Review existing study guides and assessments.
- Update learning materials based on curriculum changes and industry developments.
- Resolve content-related queries.
- Ensure academic integrity and content quality.
