Dis-Chem Pharmacies is looking for a proactive and driven Trainee Manager to join our Talent Pool for the Bloemfontein Region in the Free State. This role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in retail management by learning store operations under the supervision of an experienced Store Manager. The successful candidate will be exposed to various retail functions, preparing them for a future managerial role within the company.

Responsibilities:
Learn and support overall store operations under the guidance of the Store Manager. Key duties include inventory and stock management, supporting promotional displays and pricing, achieving sales targets in FMCG, Health and Beauty, managing point-of-sale operations, assisting with financial and HR processes, and ensuring exceptional customer service. Participate actively in all training sessions and complete required learning programmes and assessments.
Qualifications:

Grade 12 / Matric (Essential)

1–2 years’ experience in store retail management (stock, cash, reporting, expense control, and customer service)

Computer literacy (MS Office)

Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport

Willing and able to work retail hours

Diploma in Financial/Admin or a relevant 3-year qualification (Advantageous)
