Responsibilities:

Develop and implement commercial strategies for trading soybean meal, oil, hulls, wheat bran, and maize chop

Manage hedge trading on platforms such as SAFEX, CBOT, YIELDX, and OTC markets

Deliver exceptional customer service and grow client relationships across various customer segments

Ensure accurate contract execution, reporting, and risk management
-
Prepare sales forecasts and conduct market analysis

Collaborate with logistics, finance, and production teams to support efficient trading operations

Travel regularly to the Villiers plant, customers nationwide, and industry events
Qualifications:

B.Com or BSc degree in a relevant field
-
Minimum 5 years’ experience in grain/oilseed/protein trading
-
In-depth understanding of SAFEX, CBOT, YIELDX, and OTC derivative markets

Knowledge of the South African and international oilseed markets
-
Familiarity with agricultural supply chains and commodity logistics

Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
-
Proficiency in Excel and trading platforms
