Objective
To procure and deliver branded promotional materials and related services that support the branding, communication, and public awareness initiatives of Maluti-a-Phofung Water (SOC) Ltd.
All promotional items must align with the organisation’s branding and include the message:“Investing in the foundation of our water future.”
Scope of Supply
The scope includes supply and delivery of promotional and related items such as:
Branded Promotional Items
500ml squeeze bottles
Rulers
Pens
Pencil cases
Other promotional materials (as specified in tender documents)
Related Equipment & Materials
Fire extinguishers
First aid boxes
Portable multi-gas monitors
Reusable ear plugs and dispensers
Ergonomic operator chairs
Related Services (Where Applicable)
Fire extinguisher servicing
Mounting of reusable ear plug dispensers
Installation/setup where required
All items must be new, branded where applicable, and meet the technical specifications outlined in the bid documentation.
Technical Requirements
Branding must include official logo and approved message
High-quality printing/branding finish
Compliance with health and safety standards (where applicable)
Adherence to specified quantities and item descriptions
Timely delivery to designated sites
Proper packaging to prevent damage during transport
Where safety equipment is included, items must comply with relevant OHS and ISO standards.
Supplier Competency Requirements
Bidders must demonstrate:
Valid Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration
Valid Tax Compliance Status (TCS)
Municipal rates clearance certificate or proof of no arrears
Valid B-BBEE certificate or affidavit
Experience in supplying promotional materials in bulk
Capacity to meet delivery deadlines
Ability to manage branding production and quality control
Knowledge of Municipal Supply Chain Management Policy
Compliance with the Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act
Where services are included (e.g., extinguisher servicing, equipment mounting), bidders must show:
Qualified personnel
Relevant technical expertise
Compliance with safety standards
