Tender Objective
The objective of this RFQ is to appoint a qualified Occupational Health Service Provider to supply and administer the third (final) dose of the Combined Hepatitis A & B Vaccine to employees who are exposed to biological hazards while performing wastewater and sewage-related duties.
The vaccination programme is intended to protect employees who work in environments involving:
- Raw sewage
- Wastewater treatment facilities
- Sludge handling
- Sewer spillages
- Sewer pump stations
- Wastewater infrastructure maintenance
Scope of Work
The successful service provider will be required to:
Vaccine Supply
- Supply approved Combined Hepatitis A & B vaccines.
- Ensure vaccines comply with applicable regulatory requirements.
Vaccine Administration
- Administer the third (final) vaccine dose to identified employees.
- Ensure vaccinations are conducted by qualified healthcare professionals.
Vaccination Programme Management
- Coordinate vaccination schedules.
- Verify employees who previously received the first and second doses.
- Maintain accurate vaccination records.
Reporting
- Provide a consolidated vaccination report.
- Record employee vaccination status.
- Submit relevant compliance documentation.
Technical Requirements
The service provider must provide:
Approved Vaccines
- Legally approved Combined Hepatitis A & B vaccines.
- Proper cold-chain management and storage procedures.
Qualified Medical Personnel
Vaccinations must be administered by:
