     Job Purpose

    To provide financial and accounting support for infrastructure programmes and projects, ensuring proper financial administration, compliance, and accurate documentation in line with public finance regulations.

     Minimum Requirements

    • BCom Degree with Accounting II OR
    • National Diploma in Accounting with Accounting II OR equivalent qualification
    • Relevant experience (advantageous)
    • Computer literacy
    • Valid driver’s licence

     Key Responsibilities

    1. Financial Administration

    • Support financial management of infrastructure programmes
    • Process and maintain financial records for projects
    • Assist with budgeting and expenditure tracking

    2. Data Extraction & Analysis

    • Extract infrastructure financial data
    • Analyse financial information for reporting purposes
    • Assist in financial performance monitoring

    3. Compliance & Governance

    • Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations
    • Support adherence to Public Finance Management Act (PFMA)
    • Assist with audit requirements and controls

    4. Document Management

    • Maintain financial documentation systems
    • Ensure records meet Auditor-General standards
    • Organise and update financial files and reports

    5. Support Functions

    • Assist senior finance staff in infrastructure budgeting
    • Provide administrative financial support across projects
    • Help resolve basic financial queries
