Job Description
Sentech Limited is inviting suitably qualified and experienced civil engineering contractors to submit quotations for the maintenance and restoration of the access road at its Boesmanskop Site in Bloemfontein.
The appointed service provider will be responsible for carrying out road maintenance, repairs and restoration work to improve road conditions, accessibility and safety. The successful contractor must have the necessary technical expertise, equipment, resources and experience to complete the project in accordance with the specifications and requirements provided by Sentech Limited.
Key Responsibilities
The appointed service provider will be expected to:
Inspect and assess the existing condition of the access road.
Identify damaged, deteriorated and uneven road surfaces.
Perform road maintenance and restoration activities.
Repair damaged sections of the access road.
Undertake relevant civil engineering and road construction work.
Provide the necessary labour, equipment, machinery and construction materials.
Ensure that road repairs meet the required quality standards.
Implement appropriate health and safety measures throughout the project.
Maintain proper site management and supervision.
Complete all work within the agreed project timelines.
Ensure compliance with applicable construction regulations and Sentech’s requirements.

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications
Interested contractors and service providers should meet the following requirements:
Valid CIDB registration with a minimum grading of 2 CE (Civil Engineering).
Relevant experience in road construction, road maintenance or civil engineering projects.
Demonstrated ability to undertake road repairs and restoration work.
Access to the necessary construction equipment, machinery and tools.
Ability to provide competent workers and appropriate site supervision.
Knowledge of construction health and safety requirements.
Ability to comply with project specifications and contractual obligations.
Administrative and Compliance Requirements
Bidders must:
Complete and sign the required bidding documents.
Submit the Bidder’s Disclosure and SBD4 forms.
Declare any directors or partners employed by an organ of state.
Disclose relevant linked enterprises registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD).
Confirm that the bid was independently prepared.
Declare that no collusive practices or price-fixing arrangements were involved.
Ensure that all information supplied is accurate and complete.
