- Task Grade / Area of Specialization: T06 – Focused on minimizing incidents and accidents to customers, communities, farmers, farmworkers, and schools near substations through education and awareness regarding electricity and the environment.
Job Purpose
To promote public safety and environmental awareness by educating communities about the dangers of electricity, ensuring corrective actions are implemented, liaising with contractors and stakeholders, and supporting risk management services.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct education and awareness programs for communities and schools.
- Ensure corrective actions are implemented and information is shared with relevant parties.
- Promote environmental awareness in areas surrounding substations.
- Provide assistance and guidance to contractors working in the area.
- Liaise with stakeholders on risk management and safety services.

Minimum Requirements
Qualification(s)
- Grade 12 / NCV4 / NSC3 / N3 with languages
- Diploma or Certificate in a relevant function at NQF4 with 120 credits
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of public safety experience
