The department is looking for a detail-oriented and responsible individual to fill the position of Senior Financial Administration Clerk: Bookkeeping. The successful candidate will assist with financial transactions, claims, and account management to support informed financial decision-making.

Responsibilities:
Implement and administer all financial transactions and documents using the Basic Accounting System (BAS) in line with approved delegations and policies.
Manage administrative processes related to cellphone, USB, and departmental telephone accounts.
Administer claims payable and claims recoverable accounts for the department.
Prepare accurate financial reports on administrative matters to support decision-making.
Qualifications:
A Grade 12 Certificate.
Relevant experience within the Public Service environment.
Knowledge of:
Public Finance Management Act (PFMA)
Public Service Regulations
Computer literacy is essential.
Benefits:
R228 321 per annum (Level 05), basic salary.
