The Free State Provincial Treasury is looking to appoint a dedicated and detail-oriented Senior Administration Clerk: Payments to support effective and compliant financial transactions. The successful candidate will focus on ensuring timely payment of invoices and handling related supply chain management (SCM) administrative tasks in alignment with public sector policies and standards.

Responsibilities:
Implement and maintain SCM processes related to payments in the department.
Handle enquiries related to Supply Chain Management to ensure compliance with relevant procedures and policies.
Process invoices to meet the 30-day payment policy deadline.
Compile and maintain records and reports related to payments and invoice processing.
Prepare statistical reports to support decision-making on payment matters.
Qualifications:
A Grade 12 Certificate.
Experience within the Public Service environment.
Knowledge of:
Public Finance Management Act (PFMA)
Public Service Regulations
Skills: Strong communication, administrative, numeracy, and reporting skills.
Computer literacy is essential.
Benefits:
R228 321 per annum (Level 05), basic salary.
