Security Technician – VKB Internal Audit, Head Office Reitz

Role Summary

The Security Technician will oversee the installation, repair, and maintenance of VKB’s physical security systems, including alarms, cameras, and monitoring devices.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on security systems.
• Conduct fault-finding and troubleshoot issues within the security systems.
• Work with various security technologies such as Paradox, Texecom, IDS Alarm Systems, and Hikvision CCTV Systems.

Requirements

• Education: Grade 12 or NQF4
• Experience: 5+ years in technical roles, specifically with security systems.
• Certifications: Psira Grade C
• Other Requirements:
  • Valid Code 8 Driver’s License
  • Proficiency in basic networking and computer skills
  • Experience with AJAX, Hikvision IP & Analog Systems, Centurion gate motors, access control, Spotbot System

Personal Attributes

• Presentable and confident with strong interpersonal skills.
• Able to work effectively under pressure.
