    The Food & Beverage Duty Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations across all F&B outlets within the hotel, ensuring exceptional service delivery and a seamless guest experience. This hands-on, highly visible role requires a proactive leader who can supervise staff, maintain operational standards, and support the overall efficiency of the department. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, service-driven, and capable of effectively managing people and processes in a dynamic hospitality environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Oversee daily front-of-house operations and ensure smooth functioning of all public and F&B areas.

    • Supervise and guide staff, ensuring professional grooming, etiquette, and performance.

    • Ensure all outlets are clean, fully stocked, functional, and aligned with quality standards.

    • Manage stock control of operating equipment, linen, beverages, and consumables.

    • Monitor costs, assist with financial controls, and work toward departmental targets.

    • Provide ongoing on-floor staff coaching, training, and performance support.

    • Promote a positive, disciplined, and professional working culture.

    • Engage with guests to ensure outstanding service and resolve concerns promptly.

    • Conduct regular health, safety, and compliance audits.

    Requirements

    • Grade 12 (Matric); hospitality qualification is advantageous.

    • 2–3 years’ experience in a similar hospitality management role.

    • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

    • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.

    • Passion for guest service and operational excellence
