The Food & Beverage Duty Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations across all F&B outlets within the hotel, ensuring exceptional service delivery and a seamless guest experience. This hands-on, highly visible role requires a proactive leader who can supervise staff, maintain operational standards, and support the overall efficiency of the department. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, service-driven, and capable of effectively managing people and processes in a dynamic hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily front-of-house operations and ensure smooth functioning of all public and F&B areas.

Supervise and guide staff, ensuring professional grooming, etiquette, and performance.

Ensure all outlets are clean, fully stocked, functional, and aligned with quality standards.

Manage stock control of operating equipment, linen, beverages, and consumables.

Monitor costs, assist with financial controls, and work toward departmental targets.

Provide ongoing on-floor staff coaching, training, and performance support.

Promote a positive, disciplined, and professional working culture.

Engage with guests to ensure outstanding service and resolve concerns promptly.

Conduct regular health, safety, and compliance audits.
Requirements

Grade 12 (Matric); hospitality qualification is advantageous.

2–3 years’ experience in a similar hospitality management role.

Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
