    Job Purpose

    To act as the bridge between customers and the technical team, managing service bookings, providing updates, and ensuring that vehicle servicing and maintenance meet the highest customer service standards.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Receive and assist customers in a professional and friendly manner.

    • Interpret customer concerns and service needs.

    • Provide cost estimates for repairs and services.

    • Maintain continuous communication with customers during the repair process.

    • Follow up on inquiries, customer feedback, and service completions.

    • Manage bookings, job cards, invoicing, warranty claims, and authorizations.

    • Coordinate rental vehicles or shuttle services where necessary.

    • Promote dealership products and services to customers.

    • Maintain and update customer database.

    • Handle complaints effectively using CRM systems.

    • Attend OEM and internal training programs regularly.

    Qualifications

    • Matric (Grade 12) – Required

    • Valid Driver’s License – Required

    • Computer literacy – Required

    • OEM/brand knowledge and dealership systems is advantageous.

    Experience

    • Minimum 5 years in the automotive service industry.

    • Prior technical or service advisor experience is highly preferred.

    • Experience with vehicle diagnostics, customer service, or workshop coordination is beneficial.

    Skills & Competencies

    • Excellent verbal & written communication (especially in English)

    • Multilingual ability preferred for customer base diversity

    • Strong interpersonal and listening skills

    • Customer-oriented with a passion for service delivery

    • Able to work well under pressure

    • Organized, with good time management

    • Basic financial literacy and numeracy

    • Familiarity with OEM systems, warranty policies, and service administration

    Working Hours

    • Start as early as 07h00, finish after 17h30 depending on customer load

    • Saturday work may be required
