Purpose of the Role
To ensure the efficient operation of both the dispensary and clinic, leading the pharmacy team to deliver exceptional pharmaceutical care, achieve sales and compliance targets, and strengthen the Clicks brand’s competitive position.
Key Job Objectives
Deliver high standards of pharmaceutical care, accurate dispensing, and professional advice per SAPC and Clicks’ standards.
Manage all operational aspects of the dispensary — stock, shrinkage, housekeeping, and admin compliance.
Oversee financial management of the dispensary and clinic — control expenses, achieve core targets, and take corrective action when needed.
Lead, develop, and motivate staff, including learners and interns, to build future pharmacy capability.
Ensure staff scheduling and HR compliance, including accurate time and attendance records.
Drive customer service excellence and Clicks ClubCard loyalty participation.
Foster integration between the pharmacy, clinic, and healthcare aisle for a complete customer health experience.
Promote team cohesion between store operations, pharmacy, and clinic.
Champion high performance, employee engagement, and customer satisfaction.

Essential:
Registered Pharmacist with the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC)
Registration as a Responsible Pharmacist
Minimum 2 years post-community service experience
At least 1 year of people management experience
