To provide professional nail treatments and services, build a loyal customer base, and promote Dis-Chem’s salon offerings by delivering high-quality service in a retail environment.
Minimum Qualifications & Requirements
Grade 11 / Matric or Senior Certificate
Nail Technician Certificate (Gel and Acrylic)
Minimum 2 years of salon experience
Willing and able to work retail hours
Technical Competencies
Knowledge of nail care and application techniques
Awareness of contra-indications for treatments
Stock control and merchandising skills
Strong command of the English language
Basic administration and reporting skills

Ability to plan and execute treatments daily

Bilingual communication skills
Key Responsibilities
Provide high-standard manicures and pedicures
Promote and conduct monthly treatments and product promotions
Maintain stock levels, report on damages/shortages
Ensure accurate customer records and treatment reports
Attend training for product and technique updates
Manage service payments per company procedure
Support merchandising and product visibility
Special Conditions of Employment
Must be willing to work retail hours
Fit and able to perform physical tasks associated with treatments
Valid driver’s license and reliable transport (or live nearby)
Clear credit and criminal record
South African citizen
