    Introduction / Purpose of the Role:

    • PB Liquor Merchants is expanding its team and seeking two experienced and target-driven Liquor Sales Representatives to manage sales in the Free State and Southern Cape regions. These roles are focused on the on-consumption market (restaurants, bars, hotels, etc.), requiring candidates with strong liquor sales backgrounds, excellent client relationship skills, and the ability to manage promotions and marketing initiatives.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and grow market share in the assigned region.
    • Plan and manage sales calls, service routes, and customer cycles.
    • Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
    • Execute product promotions and assist with supplier marketing campaigns.
    • Design and implement sales incentive programmes.
    • Monitor and analyse sales performance trends.
    • Report on campaign results and recommend improvements.
    • Conduct stock planning and control.
    • Collaborate in solving distribution and supply chain issues.
    • Perform additional duties related to sales, reporting, and customer engagement.

    Minimum Requirements:

    Education:

    • Matric (Grade 12) is essential.
    • A relevant tertiary qualification is an advantage.

    Experience:

    Minimum 3 years’ experience in liquor sales to the on-consumption market.

    • Deep knowledge of wine, beer, and spirits categories and market preferences.

    Other Requirements:

    Excellent computer skills, including MS Office.

    • Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport.
    • Willingness to travel regularly and work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends (e.g. for events, festivals).
