Introduction / Purpose of the Role:
Workersweb is looking for an experienced and qualified Pest Control Technician to join their team in Brandfort. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, identifying, and treating pest infestations across various sites, working independently or as part of a team, while ensuring safety and compliance with relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct inspections at client sites to assess pest control needs.

Develop and implement effective pest treatment plans.

Apply pesticides and pest control treatments in accordance with legal and safety standards.

Monitor treatment effectiveness and perform follow-ups when necessary.

Maintain accurate records of all pest control activities and services rendered.

Provide feedback and recommendations to management on preventative pest control measures.

Ensure equipment is used and maintained properly.
Minimum Requirements:
Education:
-
Grade 12 / Matric certificate (compulsory)
Experience:
-
2–3 years experience in Pest Control or related field
Certifications:
-
Valid pest control certification (P-number)
-
Registration certificate from Department of Agriculture, Forestry & Fisheries (DAFF)
Other Requirements:

Knowledge of common pests, their habits, and control methods
-
Valid driver’s license

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Excellent communication skills

Strong attention to detail
Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and carry equipment

Comfortable working in various weather conditions and confined spaces

Must be able to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods
Remuneration / Salary:
R15 000 – R20 000 per month (based on experience and qualifications)
