    Purpose of the Role

    To handle inbound customer calls, resolve queries and complaints, and deliver efficient, professional customer service in line with Postbank’s service standards and compliance principles.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Answer incoming calls and assist customers with account or service-related queries.

    • Resolve complaints promptly and accurately.

    • Maintain service level KPIs for call answering, handling, and waiting times.

    • Deliver a consistently professional and friendly customer experience.

    • Identify and escalate risks or issues that could impact customers or the company.

    Minimum Qualifications & Experience

    • Grade 12 (Matric)

    • 1–2 years experience in a customer service / inbound contact centre role

    • Computer literacy (MS Office)

    Knowledge & Competencies

    • Understanding of contact centre telephony systems

    • Fluent in English (additional South African languages advantageous)

    • Knowledge of Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) principles and customer service ethics

    • Hands-on, practical approach to resolving issues

    Skills & Attributes

    • Excellent customer service and ability to manage high call volumes

    • Clear and professional communication (verbal and written)

    • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking

    • Works well under pressure in a fast-paced, service-driven environment

    • Team player with a focus on accuracy and efficiency
