Introduction
The Biospecialist’s key role is to influence and promote biological crop solutions, offering technical support to distribution partners and growers. Strong expertise in crops, roots, pests, and diseases is required, with an emphasis on integrated pest management (IPM).
Key Responsibilities & Competencies

Provide technical support and field expertise on biological and crop protection solutions.

Lead change and innovation within Integrated Crop Management (ICM) programs.

Build relationships with distribution partners and farmers to enhance adoption of biological solutions.

Offer expert knowledge on crop health, pests, and diseases for IPM integration.
Qualifications & Requirements

BSc Agriculture with majors in one or more of: Agronomy, Horticulture, Plant Pathology, Microbiology, or Soil Science.

CropLife SA certification – Basic Crop Protection Course.

Minimum 5 years’ technical marketing and sales experience in the South African agricultural industry.

Proven ability to influence and drive performance in ICM adoption.

Experience with biological crop solutions advantageous.

Afrikaans proficiency required (client profile).
