To appoint a service provider to supply, deliver, and refill 210-litre SAE 20W-40 oil drums for use on three Afro-4000 locomotives, to ensure proper lubrication and operational maintenance at the specified train stations.

Scope of the Tender:

• Supply of SAE 20W-40 motor oil in 210-litre drums

• Delivery to:

  • 2 locomotives in Bloemfontein

  • 1 locomotive in Port Elizabeth

• Refilling of existing oil systems on site

• Ensure uninterrupted lubrication for continuous operations of Afro-4000 locomotives

Technical Requirements:

• Oil Specification: SAE 20W-40 motor oil

• Engine Compatibility: Suitable for EMD 16-710-G3B turbocharged diesel engines (Afro-4000 series)

• Quantity: 210-litre drums – amount not specified (see RFQ documents)
