Empact Group is seeking a Catering Manager to oversee and support food service operations at a healthcare facility in Bloemfontein. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and experienced food service professional to play a vital role in delivering high-quality catering in a hospital environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily kitchen operations, implementing food production processes, maintaining food and labour cost controls, and ensuring full compliance with HACCP and health & safety standards. A strong understanding of special dietary requirements in a healthcare setting is essential.

Responsibilities:
Manage daily kitchen and food service operations
Oversee production processes and ensure HACCP compliance
Control food and labour costs effectively
Plan and develop menus, including special diets
Lead and manage the kitchen brigade
Support strategic and day-to-day operational functions
Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards
Qualifications:
Tertiary qualification in Food & Beverage Services or Culinary Arts (Compulsory)
Minimum of 3 years of progressive kitchen management experience
Proven ability to work within budget guidelines
High-volume and complex food service operations experience (Preferred)
Hospital/healthcare catering experience (Required)
Knowledge of special diets and South African catering laws
