Haven Health Management is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join their mental health team at the Mondia Woodlands facility in Bloemfontein. This role involves providing safe, quality nursing care for patients with mental health challenges, working closely with an interdisciplinary team including psychiatrists and psychologists.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver nursing care within the scope of practice aligned with mental health protocols

Assess, observe, and monitor patient health and behavior, reporting to the healthcare team

Provide a supportive and safe physical and psychological environment

Manage and educate patients on medication and therapy interventions

Facilitate patient compliance with therapy activities and daily schedules

Adhere to the Mental Healthcare Act No. 17 of 2002

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve positive patient outcomes
Requirements

Diploma or Degree in General Nursing Science with Psychiatry

Registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC)

Experience in a mental health environment is advantageous

Knowledge of substance use disorders preferred
