    The Pharmacist will ensure efficient dispensary operations while delivering excellent pharmaceutical care in compliance with the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC) and company standards. This role involves accurate dispensing, stock management, staff development, and driving customer loyalty through superior service.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide high standards of pharmaceutical care and safe dispensing, including generic substitution.

    • Manage dispensary operations including stock control, shrinkage prevention, housekeeping, and administration.

    • Meet dispensary and clinic sales and compliance targets.

    • Oversee the training and development of Pharmacist Assistants and Interns in line with SAPC requirements.

    • Drive customer service initiatives to enhance customer experience and loyalty.

    • Foster strong working relationships with centre managers, suppliers, and distribution centres.

    • Collaborate with clinic and healthcare aisle teams to provide comprehensive healthcare solutions.

    • Uphold and promote the company’s vision and values.

    Required Knowledge & Skills:

    • In-depth knowledge of SAPC regulations, pharmacy practice, and ethical compliance.

    • Expertise in stock, cost, risk, and compliance management.

    • Excellent patient care and professional counselling skills.

    • Strong customer service orientation and interpersonal skills.

    • Tutorship and coaching capabilities.

    • Planning, organising, problem-solving, and financial acumen.

    • Computer literacy.

    Competencies:

    • Essential: Following instructions, delivering results, relating and networking.

    • Desirable: Planning and organising, coping with pressure, entrepreneurial thinking, teamwork, and adhering to principles and values.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Registered Pharmacist with SAPC.

    • Retail pharmacy experience.

    • Experience with Unisolve system preferred.
