Haven Health Management invites compassionate and dedicated psychologists to join their mental health team at the Mondia Woodlands facility in Bloemfontein. This role is integral to supporting individuals with mental health conditions, helping them achieve optimal daily functioning and community involvement through clinical assessments, therapy sessions, and collaborative interdisciplinary care.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct psychological assessments and deliver individual and group therapy sessions

Participate actively in interdisciplinary team meetings and patient care planning

Maintain accurate clinical notes and documentation of therapy interventions

Provide crisis management and de-escalation support when required

Promote patient-centered care with cultural sensitivity and therapeutic communication

Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
Requirements
-
MA Degree in Counselling or Clinical Psychology, with community service year completed
-
Registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as an independent practitioner
-
PSYSSA membership and malpractice insurance
-
Valid driver’s license and reliable transport

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in trauma counseling or relevant mental health practice
