Job Overview
The Director will lead provincial security and integrity management initiatives, ensuring compliance with anti-corruption policies, security regulations, and information management protocols. This is a senior management role requiring strategic leadership, political sensitivity, and strong coordination skills across internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Anti-Corruption & Ethics:
Coordinate and implement the provincial anti-corruption programme of action
Ensure compliance with anti-corruption policies, strategies, and regulatory frameworks
Develop and implement ethics-building and development programmes
Security Management:
Provide and coordinate security management services at provincial and departmental levels
Implement the provincial security management policy and monitor compliance
Liaise with the State Security Agency
Information Security:
Coordinate provincial information security initiatives
Administer and oversee vetting processes
Develop and implement information security awareness programmes
Administrative & Operational Management:
Ensure effective financial and supply chain management
Oversee records, messenger, and general support services
Provide administrative support to the Directorate
Minimum Requirements
NQF Level 7 qualification (SAQA-recognized), preferably in Public Administration
5 years’ experience at a middle/senior managerial level
Experience in security and integrity management
Knowledge & Skills
Policy analysis and development
Computer literacy
Knowledge of public service operations
Security and integrity management processes
Politically sensitive with tactful and influential communication skills
Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
Additional Requirements
Completion of the compulsory pre-entry Certificate for SMS (120 hours)
Enter into a Performance Agreement within 3 months of assuming duty
Disclosure of financial interests per regulations
Participation in a technical exercise and generic managerial competency assessment

Selection Process
