The Free State Provincial Treasury is seeking a highly organized and professional individual to fill the position of Personal Assistant within the Office of the Chief Financial Officer (CFO). The ideal candidate will provide high-level secretarial and administrative support to ensure the efficient functioning of the CFO’s office in alignment with public service standards and financial governance requirements.

Responsibilities:

Deliver comprehensive secretarial and receptionist support to the Chief Director (CFO).

Provide general administrative support including document preparation, filing, and coordination of correspondence.

Organize and coordinate meetings, including logistical arrangements, agenda preparation, and minute-taking.

Assist with the monitoring and administration of the Chief Director’s budget.
-
Study and apply relevant Public Service and Departmental prescripts and policies to support the CFO’s office effectively.
Qualifications:
-
A Secretarial Diploma or equivalent qualification (NQF Level 6).

Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience as a personal assistant or administrative support in a senior management office.

Knowledge of:

Public Finance Management Act (PFMA)
-
Treasury Regulations
-
Public Service Act and Public Service Regulations
-
-
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Benefits:

R325 101 per annum (Level 07), basic salary.
