Job Title
Service Provider – Vegetation Clearing and Rubble Removal
Job Purpose
To provide professional and compliant site clearance services by clearing vegetation and removing rubble and debris at the specified premises. The objective is to ensure the site is safe, clean, and ready for future use, in line with the standards and requirements of the employer.
Key Responsibilities
The appointed service provider will be responsible for:
Vegetation Clearing
Clear all overgrown vegetation, shrubs, and weeds from the site.
Remove unwanted plants and invasive species as required.
Ensure vegetation is cleared in a safe and environmentally compliant manner.
Rubble & Waste Removal
Remove rubble, debris, and waste materials from the premises.
Load and transport waste to an approved disposal site.
Ensure safe disposal in accordance with environmental and municipal regulations.
Site Cleaning & Safety
Conduct thorough site cleaning after vegetation and rubble removal.
Ensure the site is left clean, safe, and free from hazards.
Implement necessary safety measures to protect workers and the public.
Project Management
Mobilise necessary personnel, equipment, and resources.
Ensure work is completed within the stipulated timeframe.
Provide regular progress updates to the employer.
Maintain accurate site records and documentation.
Required Qualifications & Skills
The service provider must demonstrate:
CIDB contractor grading of 1SH or higher
Proven experience in vegetation clearing and rubble removal projects
Ability to manage and mobilise resources efficiently
Knowledge of safety, environmental, and waste management regulations
Strong communication and coordination skills
Ability to work under supervision and adhere to site requirements
Performance Standards
The service provider must:
Complete the work within the required timeframe
Ensure all work meets the quality standards specified by the employer
Maintain compliance with safety and environmental regulations
Ensure no damage to surrounding property and infrastructure
Deliver a clean, safe, and hazard-free site upon completion
Reporting
The service provider will report to the Employer’s designated representative and must:
Provide progress reports as required
Attend site meetings and respond to employer instructions
Submit any required documentation (e.g., risk assessments, proof of compliance)
