Job Description
You will:
- Help manage purchasing of goods and services
- Support planning and budgeting for procurement
- Ensure processes follow government regulations
- Assist with tenders, bids, and supplier processes
Minimum Requirements
- 3-year Diploma or Degree in:
- Public Management
- Finance
- Supply Chain Management
- At least 5 years experience in Supply Chain
- Good MS Office skills
- Knowledge of SCM laws and processes
- Valid driver’s license

Key Responsibilities
Procurement & Planning
- Help develop procurement and demand plans
- Buy goods/services within budget and timelines
- Conduct market research
Tender & Bid Support
- Assist with:
- Specifications
- RFQs and bids
- Committees (Bid Specification, Evaluation, Adjudication)
Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure procurement follows National Treasury rules
- Prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders
- Assist with audits
Supplier & Stakeholder Support
- Assist departments with procurement needs
- Handle supplier queries
- Help manage supplier performance
Administration
- Keep procurement documents organised (e.g., SharePoint)
- Update schedules and databases
Team & Culture Support
- Help maintain a positive team environment
- Assist with conflict resolution and change management
