     Job Description

    The Store Manager is responsible for leading the store to achieve sales targets, manage operational performance, and deliver an exceptional customer experience. This role focuses on driving turnover, managing costs, developing staff, and ensuring compliance with company standards.

    Key Responsibilities

    Sales & Performance Management

    • Drive turnover to meet and exceed sales targets

    • Develop and implement strategic sales plans

    • Manage the full sales process effectively

    • Initiate compelling sales conversations

    • Handle customer objections and challenges

     Financial & Stock Control

    • Control store expenses

    • Manage stock losses and ensure shrinkage is within company standards

    • Ensure compliance with policies and procedures

     People Management

    • Recruit, train, and develop staff

    • Conduct performance management

    • Manage employee relations

    • Inspire and motivate the team to achieve targets

     Merchandising & Customer Experience

    • Execute in-store merchandising strategy

    • Ensure store presentation standards are maintained

    • Deliver excellent customer service

    • Leverage digital communication tools to engage customers

     Qualifications & Experience

    • Matric certificate (Grade 12)

    • Minimum 3 years retail experience

    • At least 1 year store leadership experience
