Job Overview
Absolute Pets is seeking passionate, energetic, and customer-focused Retail Sales Assistants to join their growing Bloemfontein team. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in retail, love animals, and are committed to delivering world-class customer service.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the store operates smoothly by assisting customers, maintaining stock levels, and supporting daily retail operations. Training will be provided on all products.
Job Description & Key Responsibilities
Customer Service
Provide exceptional, world-class customer service.
Assist customers in selecting appropriate premium pet food and accessories.
Build positive relationships with customers through engagement and product knowledge.
Store Operations
Ensure shelves are fully stocked and products are neatly displayed.
Assist with stock receiving, packing, and merchandising.
Place orders when required to maintain inventory levels.
Maintain cleanliness and organization within the store.
Administration & Systems
Perform basic administrative duties.
Use IT systems for sales and stock management.
Adhere strictly to company policies and procedures.
Minimum Requirements
Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent qualification.
Minimum 1 year retail or sales experience (advantageous).
Strong verbal communication skills.
Ability to work flexible retail hours (including weekends and holidays).
Physically able to carry and pack stock.
Hardworking, reliable, and trustworthy.
Interactive, engaging, and customer-focused personality.
