Job Overview
Barloworld Equipment is seeking two Product Support Service Representatives to provide technical and customer support across its range of heavy equipment and after-sales products. The role focuses on assessing customer needs, promoting service solutions, supporting equipment lifecycle management, and driving sales of parts and services.
The successful candidates will act as the primary liaison between key accounts and Barloworld, ensuring customer satisfaction while achieving operational KPIs and sales targets.
Key Responsibilities

Proactively assess, clarify, and validate customer needs on an ongoing basis.

Consult with key account customers regarding equipment lifecycles, maintenance, and replacement budgets.

Assist with quotes for parts, service, and equipment management solutions.

Understand the full range of dealership product offerings and their application to meet business and customer needs.

Market after-sales products and services to key accounts.

Act as a liaison between Barloworld, key customers, and internal planning teams.

Inspect failed machines/components alongside technical representatives and provide guidance, training, and education to customers.

Compile and submit monthly reports and forecasts to management.

Discuss machine and undercarriage inspection reports with customers regularly.

Promote Caterpillar marketing initiatives and ensure parts quotations are converted into sales.

Drive part sales through service initiatives, achieving targeted budgets and effective expense management.

Achieve operational and customer KPIs on a monthly basis.
Qualifications & Experience

Matric, B. Tech, Sales/Marketing Diploma, or equivalent certificate.

Qualified diesel/earthmoving equipment mechanic (or equivalent).

Minimum of 5 years’ experience with Caterpillar equipment as an artisan.
