Job Overview
AB InBev Africa is seeking a motivated Business Development Representative (BDR 1) to drive sales growth, market share, and brand competitiveness within assigned territories. The role focuses on managing distributor relationships, ensuring product availability, and executing merchandising strategies to enhance the visibility and performance of AB InBev products in retail outlets.
Key Responsibilities

Achieve sales targets for assigned areas.

Manage and supervise distributors, including order processing, payments, and re-distribution.

Ensure AB InBev products are stocked and available in retail outlets with the complete range.

Maintain proper merchandising, including brand visibility via POS materials and chillers.

Ensure chillers are placed in high-performing outlets and used exclusively for AB InBev products.

Monitor and enforce recommended pricing at sales outlets.

Closely observe competitor actions and market trends to maintain competitiveness.
Qualifications & Experience

3-year degree qualification.

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in sales, marketing, or FMCG environment.
Skills & Competencies
-
Valid unendorsed Code 8 driver’s license.

Basic computer literacy and experience with Microsoft Office.

Strong administration skills.

Knowledge of the local area/market.

Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship management skills.
