Job Overview
The PSG Financial Services is seeking a Paraplanner to provide administrative and financial planning support to Advisers.
This role involves managing a portfolio of clients, assisting with financial planning transactions, client servicing, account management, and ensuring all documentation complies with company standards and relevant legislation.
Main Purpose of the Role
To support financial advisers by preparing accurate financial planning documentation, reviewing client portfolios, assisting with risk management and investment strategy, and providing a high standard of client service in line with company procedures and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning Support

Prepare financial plan documents and risk management documents according to adviser strategy and client needs.

Ensure all documents comply with legislation, company policies, and standards.

Prepare statements of advice as required.

Review client portfolios and risk coverage in line with market changes, client circumstances, and objectives.

Ensure client portfolios are accurately documented and clients are kept well-informed.
Customer Service & Client Relationship Management

Handle client enquiries and provide solutions.

Maintain accurate CRM records.

Schedule and prepare for client review appointments.

Gather and summarise client policy information.
-
Research relevant product information for client recommendations.
Administration & Reporting

Diary management and administrative support to advisers.

Reporting of new business statistics and client portfolio updates.

Ensure accurate and timely documentation and record-keeping.
Minimum Requirements
-
BCom degree in Finance, Business Finance, Investments, Financial Planning, Financial Sciences, Investment Management, or Economics.

CFP certification and/or Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Planning (advantageous).

3–5 years’ relevant experience within the financial industry.

Valid driver’s license and own vehicle.

Computer literate (MS Office).
