    A leading company specialising in advanced drone technologies for the agricultural sector is seeking a skilled and energetic Drone Sales Representative. The role focuses on driving sales, conducting product demonstrations, delivering customer training, and providing frontline technical support. The successful candidate will play a key role in expanding drone technology adoption in agriculture while building strong customer relationships across the Free State region.

     Job Description

    Purpose of the Role

    To promote, sell, and support advanced agricultural drone solutions by engaging with farmers, dealers, and industry partners. This includes demonstrations, training, sales activities, and technical assistance to ensure exceptional customer experience and consistent sales growth.

     Key Responsibilities

    Sales & Business Development

    • Identify new sales opportunities and follow up on leads.

    • Drive the full sales cycle from initial contact to closing deals.

    • Provide product advice and become a drone solutions expert over time.

    • Maintain strong customer relationships and grow the client base in the agricultural sector.

    Product Demonstrations & Training

    • Conduct high-quality drone demonstrations for customers, showcasing features and value.

    • Provide basic operational training on drones and software after sales.

    • Assist farmers and clients in integrating drone solutions into their operations.

    Technical Support

    • Provide frontline support for customers experiencing technical issues.

    • Coordinate repairs or servicing needs with the technical team.

    • Gather customer feedback to help improve product performance and user experience.

    Marketing & Field Events

    • Capture photos and videos for marketing, social media, and promotional campaigns.

    • Support the planning and execution of demo days, field events, and customer visits.

    • Assist marketing teams with content creation and product awareness initiatives.

     Minimum Requirements

    • Remote Pilot License (RPL) or Remote Piloting Certificate (RPC), with proven flight experience

    • 1–2 years’ experience in sales, sales support, or customer-facing technical roles

    • Strong interest in agricultural drone applications

    • Basic understanding of drone hardware and software (additional training provided)

    • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills

    • Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel 40–50% of the time

    • Professional, energetic, and passionate about selling tech-driven solutions
