Purpose of the Role
To clean, sanitise, restock, and maintain allocated areas to the required standards, while supporting general front- and back-of-house operations and reporting any maintenance or safety issues.
Key Responsibilities
Cleaning & Housekeeping
Clean and sanitise assigned areas according to company procedures.
Restock cleaning supplies and consumables as required.
Perform special cleaning projects when needed.
Inspect areas for maintenance issues and record or report them promptly.
Operational Support
Assist with various tasks related to food production.
Provide general support to both front-of-house and back-of-house teams.
Hygiene & Safety
Follow all hygiene, health, and safety regulations.
Ensure high standards of personal appearance and cleanliness at all times.
Minimum Requirements
Matric essential
Customer service experience (advantage)
Previous experience as a cleaner in a corporate or professional environment (advantage)
Knowledge, Skills & Competencies
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, materials, and supplies
Basic communication skills
Takes pride in personal hygiene and appearance
Reliable, responsible, and dedicated to quality cleaning standards
