Purpose of the Role
To appoint a qualified and CIDB-graded contractor to undertake the refurbishment of nine (9) park homes at the Ladybrand Operational Base. The refurbishment aims to restore and upgrade the park homes to operational standards suitable for Department of Defence personnel.
Key Responsibilities

Full refurbishment of nine (9) park homes, including structural, roofing, flooring, electrical, plumbing, and finishing works.

Ensure compliance with all technical specifications and military base standards.

Complete work within the stipulated timeline and approved budget.

Attend mandatory site clarification meetings as scheduled.

Submit work progress reports and allow for inspections as per contract requirements.
Minimum Requirements

CIDB Contractor Grading: 3GB or higher (mandatory)

Proven experience with similar refurbishment projects, especially in secure or government facilities.

All tenders must be submitted on officially issued tender documents.

Skills and Competencies Required

Expertise in building refurbishment, especially modular or park home-type structures

Strong understanding of construction safety standards, government contracting procedures, and DoD protocols

Skilled and certified personnel in construction trades (electrical, plumbing, carpentry, etc.)
