Job Description
The successful candidate will support institutional research, planning, reporting, and statistical analysis within the university. The role focuses on data-driven decision-making, institutional reporting, university rankings, and strategic reporting systems.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Contribute to institutional research projects for planning and quality assurance.
- Support management information and decision-making processes.
- Coordinate statistical analysis for university rankings.
- Conduct trend analysis using internal survey data.
- Coordinate cross-departmental data analysis projects.
- Assist with the dissemination of institutional research reports.
- Promote and coordinate the Cascade Reporting Platform.
- Participate in departmental planning activities.
Minimum Requirements
- Honours Degree (NQF Level 8) in:
- Statistics
- Analytics
- or a closely related statistical field
- Minimum of 1 year relevant working experience related to the duties.
- Recommended Requirements
- 4 years’ experience in the South African higher education sector.
- Knowledge of university systems, procedures, and policies.
