    Job Description

    The successful candidate will support institutional research, planning, reporting, and statistical analysis within the university. The role focuses on data-driven decision-making, institutional reporting, university rankings, and strategic reporting systems.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Contribute to institutional research projects for planning and quality assurance.
    • Support management information and decision-making processes.
    • Coordinate statistical analysis for university rankings.
    • Conduct trend analysis using internal survey data.
    • Coordinate cross-departmental data analysis projects.
    • Assist with the dissemination of institutional research reports.
    • Promote and coordinate the Cascade Reporting Platform.
    • Participate in departmental planning activities.

    Minimum Requirements

    • Honours Degree (NQF Level 8) in:
      • Statistics
      • Analytics
      • or a closely related statistical field
    • Minimum of 1 year relevant working experience related to the duties.
    • Recommended Requirements
    • 4 years’ experience in the South African higher education sector.
    • Knowledge of university systems, procedures, and policies.
