Job Overview
The Site Agent – Construction Supervisors (Energy) is responsible for taking full ownership of construction sites on large-scale renewable energy and civil infrastructure projects. The role focuses on managing site operations, leading large teams, controlling costs and schedules, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to specification.
This position suits a seasoned site professional with strong leadership, budgeting, and project execution skills, who is comfortable managing complex projects and working with multiple stakeholders, including private, municipal, and government partners. The Site Agent plays a critical role in driving site performance and supporting the company’s expansion in the renewable energy sector.
Key Responsibilities

Take full responsibility for day-to-day site management on renewable energy and civil construction projects.

Lead, supervise, and coordinate site teams of 40+ employees, including supervisors, subcontractors, and labour.

Plan, monitor, and control project schedules, costs, and budgets to ensure successful delivery.

Manage civil earthworks and related construction activities in line with drawings, specifications, and approved methods.

Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.

Liaise with clients, consultants, municipal authorities, and government stakeholders.

Track progress, manage risks, and implement corrective actions where required.

Oversee procurement, site logistics, and effective utilisation of resources and plant.

Report on site performance, costs, and milestones to senior management.
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications

BTech, BEng, BSc, or National Diploma in Construction or Civil Engineering
Experience & Skills
-
Minimum 10 years’ experience in renewable energy projects and civil earthworks
-
Proven completion of 3 or more projects valued at R40 million or more
-
Strong costing, budgeting, and time management skills
-
Experience managing large site teams (40+ employees)
-
Valid driver’s license
-
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
